Each of the past 5 generations is broken down so that we can see how each generations' effects the other and how each generational mindset is drastically influenced within it's own generation or, though and by others differently. Whether it is to better understand our families, our communities or our business and industry we as an American society can not move forward with any substantial amount of our inherited potential without understanding the power of Generational Marketing. By the year 2006 there were 8 times more households headed by people 55-64 with children 12-17 years of age living with them than there was in 1996 (US Census Bureau) and this is increasing drastically. How this effects every American, every business selling or promoting product to Americans is of unprecedented importance.

BOOMERS RETIRING - NOT! By percentages there are more Boomers NOT RETIRING than retiring. With 77 million Baby Boomers how is this totally unregarded fact going to effect social change and commercial change. Fifty-five% of Boomer family households have children under 18 years of age living with them (Census Bureau). This social change touches everyone in someway.
